SWA Vietnam’s approach to design is based on the establishment of a clear design brief and a legible working diagram through close liaison with the client from the earliest stages of a project. Our core services include the following disciplines:
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
An essential part of any building project is managing the construction phase. During this phase, when the carefully prepared plans and drawings are transformed into concrete reality, it is essential to coordinate and monitor every detail of the process to ensure the intent of the client and the design of the architect are realized in the final product.
A successful project requires careful monitoring of established and schedules. SWA has on staff experienced project managers to oversee the construction process and budgets so that the cost are controlled and budget problems are solved early in the process. They can handle coordination of the various trades, interface with the construction contractor, and work closely with the professional design staff.
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
Architecture is our major competence. SWA Vietnam possesses specialist knowledge in the design and execution of commercial, residential, retail, industrial, healthcare and educational facilities.
We offer a comprehensive architectural service from project inception through to completion and final handover. Within these services, we carry out brief development, statutory consultation, feasibility studies, concept design, presentations, detailed design, co-ordination of production information, tender documentation along with advice on contractor selection and site inspection.
MASTER PLANNING
Master planning is the first step in the beginning of a “sketch outline” of what a facility or development could be. Prior to any architectural design being prepared for a project, the master planning process is undertaken. The client team would be involved in every step of the way with the consultant team in design charette sessions and team discussions during the early part of the master planning process. This would then be refined into a preferred option and developed accordingly into the completed product.
LANDSCAPE DESIGN
Landscaping largely means the shaping of exterior environments to meet human demands. These demands can be functional, aesthetic, social and environmental.
Landscape design is the final step to provide both natural planting and hard-scape surfaces to complete the projects. With a practical and knowledgeable approach, SWA has a unique ability to create within our projects an environment that meets the needs of our users and pleases the client / owner in the process.
INTERIOR DESIGN
SWA Vietnam offers a complete range of services for the planning, design, and delivery of interior environments. We participate in stand-alone assignments or full-service projects in which we design the entire building including the tenant fit-out.
Through the imaginative use of color, materials, furnishings and graphics, SWA seeks to inspire building occupants and define an image. Working with the particular needs of our facility users and within programmatic guidelines, SWA strives to create working environments that exceed expectations. With careful attention to workflow and the nature of interaction in the workplace, our goal is to design better places to work.
