Located on a 31,955 square meter site at a major intersection in an area of rapid commercial growth in HCMC. The project is imposing itself as a unique general block with three distinct blocks constructed in three phases. It plays an important role as a lead ing emergency center in HCMC as well as in the South of Vietnam.
The existing block named Elective Care Center in Phase one having five levels separating from the other blocks. In phase two is the Emergency & Imaging Diagnostic Center accommodating 200 beds ranged in five levels. Phase three is developed by a striking fifteen-story atrium, in the middle of the other two blocks and links all levels of the outpatient - inpatient areas as well as provides a welcoming central lobby at the front. It would be accomodated in 600 beds.
The separation of clinical routes from patients and service routes will be an important feature of the departmental layouts, resulting in an environment that provides for optimum patient privacy.
Simple building forms, balanced with appropriate environmental sustainability and creates a prominent building of aesthetic quality.
Key elevations feature sun shading louvers which further enhance the horizontality of the building whilst modulating environmental conditions within the building, and achieving a diffused quality of daylight.
