This project is the result of a joint venture between M&C Holding, a private development company, and Cho Ray Hospital, the largest state-owned hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.
Llewelyn-Davies & SWA Vietnam has been appointed to design a new private hospital, the Elective Care Centre, which will be located in the SW corner of the existing Cho Ray Hospital site. The Elective Care Centre will be a self-sufficient facility, accommodating elective care beds, outpatient care, an intensive care unit, and its own diagnostic and treatment facilities (with the exception of emergency department, as patients will be referred from the existing A&E at Cho Ray Hospital into the Elective Care Centre). The provision for the Inpatient Accommodation would be of 548-beds, distributed in different room types ranging from 4 bed bays to VIP and presidential suites.
The aim of the proposal would be to deliver a hospital which feels like a resort facility, providing high quality materials and adequate space standards, with areas for relatives, sky gardens and amenities for ambulatory patients and visitors; combined with the latest technologies in clinical equipment.
